JonRoss, what 99.9% of the rest of society are you referring to? I've not been in the U.S. all that long, however I've found that some of America's most educated do not speak correct English. I hope they don't pass a law against women walking around in those daisy's with their butt cheeks hanging out or showing cleavage. I think I'll just pack up my bags and move back to Europe if they do.

I don't understand why America's colored populace want laws they know will subject them to more persecution. Wasn't it America's coloreds who fought for stiffer sentencing for crack cocaine users, then cried foul when so many young colored males were sent to prisons? What do they want actually?

One off-duty officer also fired shots after someone pointed a gun at him, police said

Is this what the off duty officer said? Or were there witnesses?

Also, it was stunning to see from this story one of the 6 officers involved in that other tragic shooting where they fired over 50+ shots at a man in 2009, hitting him over 40+? times, are still working at the police department. Then I checked only to find all, with the exception of one, are still employees of CPD. The lone one that left actually quit on her own, married and moved away to another state.

@I think we all understand what a Christian servant leader sounds like.

Or its imposters.

Someone mentioned there was another vehicle found around the same location as Mrs. Palmgrens. Has there been any other missing persons in the area? Whomever the remains belong to, hopefully they didn't suffer and the end came quickly. It's agonizing to think someone may have lain there possibly for hours or days suffering.

PEACE

Cyclists all too often take chances on the road that could turn out deadly. They zoom through stop signs without stopping in residential areas. One recently almost came in contact with my car. Not only is their reckless cycling a danger to them, but can be very dangerous for a child skateboarding, riding their small bikes or skating. At the speeds they are going and zipping through stop signs without stopping, if they should strike a child or even a pedestrian, there are goinng to be serious injuries or even death for the individuals they strike.

All of us have a responsibility on the road to obey the rules and make the road safer for everyone. For whatever reason, many cyclists seem to believe those rules don't apply to them. That the roads belong to them and others must get out of the way.

So Haslam believes it's "too expensive" to provide free government voter ID? Well, will a class-action lawsuit cost less?

Lib4, you're really sounding off the chain. How in the world can you compare having to show ID to vote buying a gun? You really need to take a break.

Here is someone having a hissy over tall grass when all it takes is an act of Mother Nature to come in and swoop her, the home she lives in and her obviously neatly mowed lawn and wipe them all out in a split second. Yet, she's worried about her neighbor's lawn. Are all Americans so self-centered as Ruby?

@The so-called sovereign nation Pakistan has been harboring this criminal for years. Where is the justice? God Bless the USA! RICH RUOCCO, Hixson

Hate to shatter your world, Mr. Ruocco, but America knowingly took in and sheltered Nazi war criminals after World War II. Instead of GOD BLESS AMERICA maybe we should pray that God forgives America, Pakistan and the rest, then ask that HE SAVES THE WORLD from self destruction!
