It's very hard to understand how worthwhile people would abandon their children for their entire childhood for anything, no matter what. Illegal immigrants are the new slaves. A very dim view should be taken of those who would exploit them.

The issue of abortion has always been polarized because foes of legal abortion entertain they have the undisputed moral high ground. Once they satisfy themselves of that, they believe their moral high ground should be law to all others. They are crazy. They are very crazy. Some of them say abortion is murder. If it is, it's conspiracy murder in the first degree. This is a crime punishable by death.

Over fifty million women have had legal abortions. Do these foes of legal abortion feel if justice were served all 50 million women and their doctors could justly be put to death?

All women of every age should be able to obtain an abortion privately, legally, cheaply and safely, and owe no explanation to anyone.

It's amazing there's not a brain amongst the four of these young people. They need not be in college anyway. College will not benefit them as they have no brains.

The signs are in bad taste, period. Even a devout Christian could be offended. The signs just don't belong at a football game.

Though the police were likely justified in all three cases, it's fine that there are groups that will scrutinize and question what happened and take a hard line.

Fear is the reason for the guns, whether legal or illegal guns.

The way to stop the guns and disarm people to to remove the fear. Brave men and women have no interest in carrying a gun. Fearful men and women do.

Fifteen year old black boys who carry an illegal gun are afraid of bigger, meaner boys. Fifty year old white men who carry a legal gun are afraid of shadows.

I would be so ashamed if I couldn't pay for my own child's food. It's very unsettling to know that so many people are unable to provide the little bit of change it takes for a school lunch. America is truly on the ropes.

It's apparent Chief Cooper needs to be replaced. He's very nice but in the wrong job. On the one hand we can't arrest our way out of the situation and on the other it's just a few people doing all of it? That doesn't make sense. The police aren't getting there because the caller didn't say the magic word?

As a suspicious person could be a burglary in process the two calls should be treated the same. Don't try to discerb between "something might be wrong" and "something is wrong". Get the heck over there quick and find out what's going on.

All citizens who call police for any matter expect the police to be there soon. If the police aren't going to respond immediately they should give you an appointment time and say when they'll be there. Never let the citizen be wondering when the police are going to show. The dispatcher should never hang up the phone without making sure the callen knows when to expect the police. Don't say "soon". Say "four to six minutes" or something specific.
