ldurham - bring 'em. They can catch a ride with the 40 others. There are only 2 "good" OOZ players. The others are non-athletic but welcome none the less. By the way - I doubt you have 1 Brainerd friend.

ldurham - we do...every day...but your failure to read or accept the real facts keeps your sterotype, bitterness and ignorance alive and well. No amount of reasoning is going to change your opinion of life on the mtn or what goes on behind the walls of SMMHS.

Don't worry...we're losing so many good seniors this year that we will struggle next year to stay above 500. But I doublt that it was our athletic success that is causing all this hate. People always have had strong anti-SM emotions before SMMHS ever existed.

Facts - you have a pretty high and mighty attitude for being "non-mountain". Did your children get up at 5am to catch the bus so they could take the 45+ minute ride to school - oh and since there wasn't a local pick up, did you make the 10+ minute drive to get them to their bus stop by 6:10am? Or did you get up extra early so you could get them there by 7:15am? And if they did any after school functions, did you leave work early so you could pick them up when it was over? Maybe you raised your own property taxes so you could build your own school? You don't seem to want to put your money where your mouth is. Do you really know what life is like on the Mtn or is your stereotype good enough to suffice? Do you know any SM kids now that they are older? I do and I think they turned out just fine.

Back to the story...Sorry Tim that the adults have let you down. I hope you forgive and go on to prosper.

There are 41 out-of-zone students - 3/4ths (or more) of them are not atheletes. Why do you have so much hate and bitterness toward SM? There has to be a deep seeded reason. Whatever the reason, you need to let it go because life is too short to be a bitter old man/woman.

jfhorton3rd - HCDE approved his change. TSSAA was notified and I can't vouch for their response but I can almost assure you it wasn't no. Probably didn't care until some stuck pig squealed. Love Tim but the W/Ls would have been same with or without him. This has Hatorade spilled all over it.

chattbaby - Buy some property on Signal and your kid(s) can go here too. You don't have to be rich to afford Signal property.
