Clay, I can associate this cartoon with the first two years when with the Democrats in control of Congress with President Obama giving them the opportunity to show some leadership in dealinf with the crisis conditions, but they did not show any initiative.
in 2010 the Democrats lost the US House after their inaction, and now President Obama has STARTING DRIVE the Congress, They do not like it.

Have you forgotten the Republicans number one objective to cause the failure of President Obama during his first term to prevent the voters from re-electibng him for a second term, regardless of the DAMAGE it would do to this Republic's economic well being?

What failed policy are you talking about? I know of a failed policy of that the Republicans had from the start of President Obama's first term.
The News Media CERTAINLY GIVEN has given the Republicans a free ride on the seriousness of their failed policies/objectives to cause the failure of the recovery 2007 deep recession by directly trying to cause the failure of President Obama.
