Erlanger employees are rejoicing tonight. If it was the board that really decided he would go, then thanks to them for making what must have been a really tough decision. Erlanger is a great place where a lot of good folks work hard to serve patients. However, the leaders have been less than we deserve. The self-interest of several of them became more important than their work here. So, Mr. Brexler leaving is a great start. However, there are a few others who need to pack their offices and go with him. I would encourage Mr. Brexler to loan a nice-sized box to his father-in-law Doug Fisher…who clearly only got or kept his high-paying job because of who he knew. It was time for changes like this to make us all Erlanger Proud.
