What do the NFL HOF folks have against Jerry Kramer? He should have been in years ago and once again he gets overlooked.
Great clip link MocTastic..one of the greatest scenes from one of the best movies of all time. I'm biased because I lived most of what is portrayed in Animal House.
Rushmore moment? Being in the upper deck on the east side of what was then known as Adelphia Coliseum when this happened:
Keith: "Do the Titans have a miracle left in them in what has been a magical season to this point? If they do, they need it now. Christie kicks it high and short. Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25; he dishes it back to Wycheck; he throws it across the field to Dyson..."
Ryan: "He's got somethin'..."
Keith: "30, 40..."
Ryan: "He's got somethin'..."
Keith: "50, 40.."
Ryan: "He's got it! He's got it!"
Keith (voice volume increasing): "30, 20.."
Ryan: "He's got it!"
Keith: "10, 5, endzone...touchdown, Titans! There are no flags on the field! It's a miracle! Tennessee has pulled a miracle! A miracle for the Titans!"
I'm as frustrated a Moc fan as any there are out there. BUT after viewing to so called "ineligible receiver down field" penalty I do hope Russ gets someone fired. Check the link below and go the 3:40 mark. 9 men on or behind the line of scrimmage. One back on a wheel route out of the backfield. WR on a post route. I guess since officials never see passing in a GA Southern game they weren't sure what was happening. Awful call. : http://www.gomocs.com/mediaPortal/player.dbml?&db_oem_id=17700&id=3073743&ATCLID=209269716&ATCLPID=&SPSID=88679&SPID=10577&DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=17700
Maholm and Gomez have a long history. Saw this on the MLB network last night. How they pulled this together in such a short time is pretty amazing:
Scariest monster? Without a doubt, the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz, in black and white, as we saw it only once a year on TV. When I finally saw it in color they weren't near as scary. They almost looked cartoonish. But those black and white winged simians always produced nightmares.
Stewwie, ditto on your last comment and yes, let's hope the pigskin gets shared by the Mocs offense.
When Keon got to touch the ball last year he was productive. Problem was he didn't get to touch the ball enough. As matter of fact, not nearly enough Mocs got to touch the ball last year. Huesman has said as much in the spring and again as practice has started this week. This team will be stronger than battery acid on defense. If the ball isn't shared enough on offense, as was the case last year, opposing teams will figure them out real quick.
Watching the trucks racing at Eldora last night was the most fun I've seen in Nascar since the old days @ Bristol. Not sure what they can do to capitalize on this but taking the trucks to more than one dirt event a year would be a start. Put the Nationwide series on dirt for a race or two as well.
RE: Jim Foster hire: Henry Davenport is doing a little dance in heaven right now yelling "Where's the defense?" and "Who's got the middle?"
