Hicks testified that at a meeting at the police department, he wrote on a whiteboard for them to stop any unbecoming behavior, but he did not speak to them. He said the officers and supervisors nodded at the message but did not speak to him.
What else needs to be said? Chief, Assistant Chief, supervisors- all need to go! There is no shame in their game.
Has it already been decided that she is not qualified to be the permanently appointed CEO? It does appear that her last stint as interim was adequate and she does have more experience now than then. I believe that perseverance and faith in fairness can be rewarded. The bar doesn't seem to have been raised that high, you know.
Hopefully this interim appointment will not preclude her from being appointed to the post on a permanent basis. She is an example of perseverance and faith which can inspire many who encounter ceilings of different types but go on, anyhow!
