Ten Cup: Contest entry: Wilbekin and Hancock.

The NCAA needs a union about like Volswagen does. I agree with jomo11 it is all about revenue sharing for the unions. It is another way to put easy money in their pockets and it will ruin sports as we know it plus hurt some if not all universities. The minor sports will be no more.

Basketball Rushmore Entry: UCLA-North Carolina State semi-final game that starred Bill Walton and David Thompson and went into overtime.

Ten Cup: Nice talking to you and Paschall on 105.1 yesterday. I was the one to mention Vince Dooley and Hugh Durham for the Rushmore.

As for the Mocs I would give them a solid B. It would have been a B+ or an A with one Soucon Tournament win and a win last night. I am really looking forward to this team playing next year I really believe they WILL WADE make the Big Dance.

Picks: First Out: Virginia Last In: North Dakota State

Ten Cup: Greatest college basketball players: Pistol Pete, Elvin Hayes, Lew Alcindor and Bill Walton with honorable mention to the Big O.

Saban needs to get with the program or the game will pass him by. After the Auburn and Oklahoma games showed chinks in the armour he needs make changes so maybe that is why he brought in Kiffin. If he is worried about injuries he can tell his players not to play or he can retire that will cut down on them.

Ten Cup: Wadley was a great coach from his days at Tennessee Temple until now. I hate to see him leave but I do not think he had as much success at McCallie.

I did not get to hear all of Press Row yesterday but on your rushmore of Canadians did anyone ever mention Ferguson Jenkins of the Cubs? He was born in Canada.

Ten Cup: If the Cobb County Education does not get Mr. McKinnon into NASA he could always be a Sports Editor/Radio Personality!

Glad Junior finally got off the non-winning bandwagon. Maybe he can start to live up to his hype.

Ten Cup: Top five for SI:

  1. 1970 cover with Cheryl Tiegs. First swimsuit issue I saw. A neighbor of mine gave me several SI issues and that one was in there and made a great impression on a 12 year old. Still can see the fishnet swimsuit from several years later.

  2. Kate Upton.

  3. Christie Brinkley.

  4. Kathy Ireland.

  5. Tyra Banks.

Keep up the great work here and on Press Row.

Ten Cup: Kudos to you and Paschall on Press Row being great. Only problem I have listening is from time to time to many idiots caling but the two of you do a great job. I know everyone has their on opinion on sports.

My Dawgs made a great, Great, GREAT hire for Defensive Coordinator. The defense will be greatly improved. Pruitt is supposed to also be a great person and has a lot of football sense.

Shoe of choice Converse All Stars low or high tops.

Keep up the great job you are doing.

Ten Cup: I forgot to mention that Joe Dean was one of the best Jay, one of the best. Nothing like hearing String Music on a Saturday afternoon in the winter.

Ten Cup: The Auburn game was a microcosim of the Georgia season. Murray being Murray and the defense being well the defense. Grantham has got to go after this season because the defense stinks. Both teams played a great game that could have gone either way.

I want to give a shoutout to the Ringgold Tigers. They won their first EVER playoff game Friday night 55-54. It was the best High School Football Game i have seen in person since I saw Valdosta and Southwest Dekalb play in the Georgia Dome when Quincey Carter was a junior. In that game Valdosta came from 20 points down to beat SD. The come back started when a defensive end from Valdosta tatooed Carter in the end zone for a safety. Good time for the Wilcats that night just like for the Tigers this past Friday. Due to an upset Ringgold gets to host Cedar Grove this Friday.

All i can say about the Falcons is the stink worse than a pole cat!!
