Ten Cup: Great spots weekend if you are a 49er or Ravens fan which I am not! Falcons need a running back and another pass rusher. Was it me or were the 49er receivers invisible till they caught the ball because there was never a Falcon within 10 yards of them when they made their catches. As for the Falcon receivers other than on Julios TD it looked like the Niners DB's were attached to the Falcons uniforms.
Ten Cup: As usual a great 5@10. Loved, LOVED, LOVED!!! the way the dawgs scored 22 unanswered points to put away the Corn Shuckers. As for the GT-USC game there is no way I can ever pull for a Kiffin. Don't know what it is about the dude but I just do not like him. If he were still at UT they would be on probation and i believe it will not be long before he has USC there again if he lasts that long.
Ten Cup: Great article today with a lot of good points.
For the Stan White/Steve Tanneyhill Mount Rushmore I have two nominations:
Onterio McCaleb of your favorite team. Seems like the dude came in with William Andrews and seems like he has been returning kickoffs forever.
E J Manuel of Florida State. I think he took over after Charlie Ward. Just in case you did not know but being the sports guy that you are I am sure you do. Andrews and Ward are from the same hometown but different high schools.
Ten Cup: The Sportsman and High School Sportsman of the Year should be Mark Mariakis. As for the High School story of the year the Ridgeland run to the title game was good but the Ringgold Tigers Baseball team made it to the finals without their best player and pitcher Matthew Crownover after he tore up his elbow in the second or third game of the year.
The overall sports story of the year for the area should be the Chattanooga State lady Tigers winning the Junior College World Series.
Ten Cup: Glad to see one of Dooley's assistants land on his feet. I thought Georgia's bball team was bad but at least they can score a few points which is more than the Vols can do.
As for your Rushmore here is the Parrothead Rushmore:
Jimmy Buffett, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi and the Stones.
I agree with you on the Bradshaw, Brady and Stockton for the greatest 12's but I have to pass on Alomar. I would replace him with Roger Staubach or Aaron Rodgers. Staubach because he won a Heisman, served the Navy, won a Super Bowl and is in the Pro Football HOF and Rodgers was a MVP and won a Super Bowl plus neither one ever spit on a refree.
Ten Cup: I remember the day I really started watching It's A Wonderful Life. I came in one day and my dad was watching it and I picked up the remote and turned the TV to something sports. My dad looked at me and wanted to know what I was doing then proceeded to tell me in no uncertain terms to turn it back. I said stupid remote. I have, never, Never, NEVER turned it while it was on again. Still love it till this day.
Ten Cup: I would say Bray is gone because coach Jones needs someone who can run. As for Murray I like him but if he leaves the cupboard is not bare at Georgia becuse of Hudson Mason. The kid has an arm and a good head on his shoulders plus we still have Gurley and Marshall.
Do not see how Willie Martinez will improve the sticks in the UT secondary that that looked like they were in mud last year as backs ran right by them.
In the St. Nick bracket I like: It's A Wonderful Life.
In the St. Nippy bracket I like: Christmas Vacation.
Ten Cup: I agree with you about Tubs. I believe he is there for the Skyline Chili Dogs which are second best to the Varsity. Kirby Smart and Mike Bobo were seen on TV at the Norcross-Colquitt County game scouting the running back from Norcross. Glad to see Ridgeland win one for the locals even though they had to sweat out the field goal attempt to beat the hated Marist War Eagles. Any time Marist is involved it usually goes down to the wire. I have had the privildge to seem them several times against my high school Thomas County Central down in South Georgia.
I am glad to FINALLY see the Johnny Vols get a coach so they quit their crying and forget about Gruden. I believe they got a good one.
5-at-10: Super Bowl set, Super siblings, Humpty on Twitter, recruiting and Mr. (blank)

5-at-10: Merry Christmas (and the best high school football players we've ever seen)
William Andrews Thomasville, GA Charlie Ward Jr. Thomasville, GA Stan Rome Valdosta, GA Buck Belue Valdosta, GA Mackel Harris Americus, GA
5-at-10: More bowl picks, and a Steve Taneyhill Mount Rushmore (no it's not a mullet)
Ten Cup: You said: And are you suggesting that there's some pretty good football players from South Georgia? Hush yo mouth.
They were two of the three best I had the privilege to see play in person in high school. The other was Stan Rome from Valdosta.
