I think the important point here is that there is still a process for parents, it's just a different and hopefully a better process. I believe parents will be more informed about these schools by going through this process, and make a more informed decision, than with the former procedure. Parent commitment is still required, but it's nothing extreme, and each parent that completes those steps has an equal chance.

It may be just coincidence that the story fails to mention Van Irion. Look Van up yourself at www.van4congress.org if you haven't already.

What do the Liber-Tea Debate in February, the Tax Day Tea Party event in April, the Young Republican Southside Jazz Shakedown and the Tea Party Convention in Gatlinburg have in common? They all showed the overwhelming support for Van's message! After every one of these events, the number of people around Van wanting to discuss things further was 2-3 times the number of people around the other candidates. His message resonates with people that hear it.

Or you can look back at any of the polling that was done by groups not associated with a particular candidate, such as the Chattanoogan.com's poll, and you saw Van as the clear leader in this race.

So look carefully at this candidate, and don't fall for the misinformation or lack of media coverage. This is the primary. Look at the candidates. Vote for the one that you see the most alignment with your principles and the one you see the best leadership from, and the one who has made the most of the campaign contributions received and best maximized the use of volunteer help.

When I consider those things, I'm proud to vote for Van in the Republican primary for Congress.

So they give the award/endorsement based on her positions on the issues, but he didn't read their own questionnaire that she submitted? That seems strange to me.

As we are getting into the final stretch of this important election, I hope that the voters are not overly swayed by a candidates ability to dump a ton of cash into running ads. The ability to spend a lot of money does not mean they can stick with the Constitution and do the right thing in DC.

Check out van4congress.org and you'll see why Van's all-volunteer team is working so hard. It's the principles that matter. Look carefully at the candidate, not at a 30-second marketing pitch, and we'll be the better for it as a community. Thank you.

Thanks for taking the time to meet with Van. With Van, you don't get more of the same that has taken us where we are as a country. I hope you will consider Van and learn more about him at van4congress.org. Thank you.

Van is running a great campaign and working hard to get out his message. Not too long ago he won an online poll at the Chattanoogan.com, and his support is growing. Go to van4congress.org to learn more and get involved with the campaign!

Van Irion had a great talk at the Pachyderm Club on Monday. I saw a lot of heads nodding in agreement.

If you want to check out the recent chattanoogan.com congressional race poll results, you can see that Van Irion was well ahead of the rest of the pack, including Robin and Chuck. You can find it at http://www.van4congress.org/news/ since the chattanoogan.com didn't post the results themselves.

Van Irion served our country in the Air Force. Check him out at http://www.van4congress.org/ or at http://www.van4congress.org/news/ where you can learn more about him including his recent win on a chattanoogan.com poll for the congressional race against Robin, Chuck and the others in this race. In fact his 51% was more than Robin, Chuck and Gobble combined! Check it out if you don't believe it.

While some candidates are bickering about celebrity endorsements and showing off the money in their bank account, many citizens are supporting Van Irion, who is already going to work for folks that are opposed to "Obamacare." You can join over 29,000 Americans who have already signed on to Van's class action suit against Obamacare at www.obamacareclassaction.com/ and find out more about Van at http://www.van4congress.org/

Don't wait until right before the primary in August to study the candidates. Do 3 minutes of research now because you will probably want to tell a friend or two about him.

You mention in your article, quoting Wamp, that "Iron sharpens iron," but failed to mention Van Irion, another strong contender for this seat. While some other candidates are bickering about celebrity endorsements and showing off the money in their bank account, many others are looking closely at Van Irion, who is already going to work for folks that are opposed to "Obamacare." You can join over 29,000 Americans who have already signed on to the class action suit against Obamacare at www.obamacareclassaction.com/ and find out more about Van at http://www.van4congress.org/

Van can win this race. You should have seen the numbers of people talking with him at the Liber-Tea Debate and at Coolidge Park for the Tax Day Tea Party. Don't fall for letting the media tell you that you have to pick from Chuck or Robin. Decide for yourself!
