huckleberryfriend there are thousands of AMERICAN CITIZENS that cannot feed their children and they go without because they don't have a job. Why? Because illegals such as these two are taking the jobs that are available. I do have compassion; however, at some point you must also use common sense in addition to compassion. Unfortunately, our nation can longer be the safe haven it once was...we simply cannot afford it. Do we allow our own to suffer, those that have sacrificed and risked their lives for this nation in order to help immigrants who come here illegally? Here in Dalton they are schooled on how to take advantage of our government when they arrive. Why don't they do as our forefathers did? STAY IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY AND FIGHT FOR THEIR RIGHTS AND A BETTER LIFE. You know why? Because that is to's easier to come here as an illegal and take advantage of our country. I do believe the majority of American citizens are sick and tired of being taken advantage of and ready to put a stop to it. I do believe if we all would pull together and leave the bipartisan BS out of the picture we can do it and maybe get our country back on track.

I live in Dalton, GA and unemployment is at the highest I have ever seen it. Carpet mills are closing their doors, AMERICAN CITIZENS are losing their jobs and at the same time their insurance benefits. Yet those same people and I are supposed to foot the bill for these illegals to stay in this country, pay for their children's medical needs as well as any other expenses they incur...all while THEY work a job that an American citizen could be doing. If we know these people are here illegally why hasn't the employer already been reported and fined? Apparently our government is aware of them.

My question is if they now these people are here illegally then why have they not been sent back to their own country? This is why our country is in the shape it is in now...allowing people like this to come in, have 5-10 children and say those children are American citizens. They ARE NOT American citizens...the parents were here illegally. I am sick and tired of seeing people like this taking advantage of our country. They get all of their expenses paid by our tax dollars while our elderly AMERICAN CITIZENS that fought and sacrificed for this country go without...they can't even get adequate medical care. WAKE UP AMERICA...PUT A STOP TO THIS NONSENSE. GIVE THEM THE KIDS, SEND THEM BACK TO GUATEMALA AND LET THEIR COUNTRY FOOT THE BILL.

Mr. Coronado, Because a person expresses their opinion concerning illegals does not promote bigotry. Fact is illegals not only in Dalton, but all over our nation, particularly California have caused such economic burdens that yes, it has cost lost jobs for AMERICAN CITIZENS. If you are in this country illegal Mr. Coronado you are breaking the law and your actions should not be rewarded with free health care, free food, free housing and a free education for your children. You should be locked up and then transported back to the country from which you came. American citizens are tired of giving illegals a free ride while we watch our elderly citizens that have fought and sacrificed for this country do without. An elderly Amercian citizen should not have to choose between food or their required medications because they don't have the necessary funds to purchase both while an illegal is provided both for free. Americans are finally beginning to speak up and voice their opinions and want a stop put to this....that is what you call "bigotry". But guess what? We really don't care what YOU or the thousands of illegals call it or think about it, because in our opinion you have NO RIGHTS. Maybe eventually you and your brothers & sisters will understand that the golden spoon that you have been eating from for all these years isn't going to be handed to you any longer.
