That's the talking point from the left... Say the GOP wants Obama to fail. It started when Rush Limbaugh said he wanted Obama to fail at instituting European style soft-socialism, and the leftists immediately removed the context and made it into the evil Republicans wanting the nation to fail under Obama's leadership. We want Obama to succeed at leading this nation and reestablishing our global gravitas, but we firmly believe that can't happen unless Obama becomes more Austrian in his economic policy and less Keynesian. The road we have gone down under Obama has been more government, more debt, more taxes, more meddling in the affairs of other nations, a lower credit rating, more unemployment/underemployment, and FAR more people simply giving up the job hunt and therefore skewing the unemployment numbers. Obama's policy can only fail, and if he fails to implement his agenda, we may begin to succeed as a nation. Obama's success and America's long term success are mutually exclusive.
