It isn't as if America hasn't historically sunken to new lows douring periods of strife, social and economic problems. Sinking to new lows is a part of the very fabric for some. It's considered a birthright. Some have said Hitler got his inspiration after studying American history extensively and its targeting of certain ethnic, classes and racial groups to blame for its many woes and failures.

@mymy, I just read that link of yours. Sounds more like some Repub supporters might be up to some of their usual dirty tricks? Attempting to diver attention and show Dems in a bad light?

It's only a matter of time before this happens here:

AP-

"A member of the US Marine Corps Reserves has been shot and killed in Oregon after authorities say a hunter mistook him for a bear."

"Christopher Ochoa, 20, and a friend were hiking through a field in Western Oregon on the way to Silver Creek Falls Park on Friday evening"

rolando, are you really so naive as to believe this individual (I hate to even think he was ever a cop) would actually admit to anything other than just kissing the underage girls? Surely, as a cop, he would know the age of consent. To admit anything other than just a kiss he knew the charges land him in the slammber and on the sexual offenders registry for life. Now he can still be a cop somewhere, even in Georgia and Florida, and continue on with his sick perversion for underage girls.

My concern is it seems the profession is attracking more pedophiles and child molesters these days. We tell our children if they ever feel they're in danger they can turn to a cop for help. Is that really good advice these days?

The bulk of voter fraud takes place with those diabol machinges, which swings heavily to the side and in favor of the Republican Party. Any voter fraud at the hands of the voter is quite minor to non-existing in comparison to what those machines can do.

Remember the words of Joseph Stalin: "The one who votes decides nothing! The one who counts the vote decides the outcome!"

EaTn, the black man in the white peoples' house will never receive credit for anything he's accomplished, nor will he receive any support from right wing conservatives AKA GOP republiKans to get the nation back on track economically. They want Obama to fail an fail so horribly that the world will turn on America's first black president.

He noted permit holders must pass criminal background checks and complete an approved handgun safety course.

The above statement serves no purpose when the individual, who was unstable all along, goes beserk after the fact and kills somone in murder-suicde, road rage etc. Then you have the criminals whose records have been expunged, and then there are the criminals who have lined the pockets of politicians and others who can become legal gun owners.

When will any of you learn that the leader of any country is not the actual leader of that country? Follow the money and you learn who's really in charge. Obama, like Bush and all the leaders before them were just figureheads.
