Please! They may raise our taxes? Mr. Wamp's vote on TARP set in motion a spree of bad policy and pork barrel spending that the nation hadn't seen in over two centuries of governance.

Further, it accorded unconstitutional powers to the Treasury Secretary which we may never be able to reverse. Pray that we come to our senses.

Wasteful spending is the twin brother of tax increases. Mr. Wamp supports nuclear power as do I. How many nuclear reactors could we have built with the 600 billion in earmarks attached to TARP?

At 3 billion each, that would be 200. That is 4 for each of the 50 states. Mr. Wamp says that it matters who governs.

This type of demagoguery is exactly why I am running as the federalist alternative in the Republican field. The Constitution matters -- All of It!
