The writer of this story has made it seem as if all these people are just nice folks down on their luck. One of the people camping out at First Baptist Church is a drug addict who conned someone out of $6,000. She would rather con people than do the hard work of getting off drugs and going to work every day. I would like to see these people have to get off drugs and look for a job.

The writer of this article makes it seem as if the homeless community on the hill is full of nice people who are just down on their luck. While that may be true for some of them, at least one member of that community is a drug addict who has swindled at least $6,000 from one of my relatives. She does not want help because it's just a whole lot easier to con people than it is to try to get off drugs. I hope they are forced into getting help instead of continually getting handouts so they don't have to try to get off drugs and get a job.

All Hamilton County Schools seem to care about is TCAP scores. They do not see students as individuals with needs or problems. Some students can get away with anything because of who they are or what their parents donate or how much time their parents donate. No wonder there are so many private schools in this county. Hamilton County public schools create a demand for private schools.
