It is too convenient that the State Attorney General has this doomsday opinion now. The sky is falling, right. The system has allowed some good lawyers to become appellate judges virtually for life. It has never removed a poor performing judge. A lot of assistant attorneys general are on the bench because of the system. The system is political and always has been. The electorate scares the heck out of the insecure judges. Ask how much the pay and benefits cost the voters.
