So what is next? No passengers in any vehicles to distract the driver. No radio or CD player to distract the driver. Where does it end. I certainly agree that texting should not be allowed. But all cell phones now have have wireless hands free devices that can be used while driving.

Do you remember when CB radios were the rave? I don't recall hearing the government claiming that as a distraction. I am sure many truckers still use them as well as cell phones as tools to help them do their job better and more efficient.

If you are going to ban all cell phone use, then make a law that if you make a turn and do not use a signal, it is automatically 30 days of hard labor in jail. Over 50% of Chattanooga area drivers do not have a clue their vehicles are equipped with signal devices for turns! Now that is a major safety hazard.

I agree that 6-6 teams should not be honored with a bowl appearance. Besides that, there are too many bowls anyway. This is a very lackluster bowl season. And one more thing, the BCS can drop the C because it is just BS!

Sunday sales of alcoholic beverages is not a moral issue. Is "Red" implying that people who choose to drink alcohol are immoral? Is that up there on the same scale as things such as perversion, sexual or physical abuse, political corruption of so many people in elected positions or positions of authority? I think not!!! Ft O, enjoy keeping the same old narrow minded people in charge. Evidently status quo is good enough for you!
