The works of PlainTruth & Jt6 validated the second paragraph of my 12:56 post with a speed I could scarcely have imagined.
Recklessly and proudly they strode, into a field of M-14’s – or is it a thicket of bear/beaver traps.
I shall endeavor to not Irritate you any longer this month. Happy Thanksgiving.
Anyone besides me having Pheasants tomorrow? I'm roasted ours on the Weber.
It’d be funny (Republican distraction) if it weren’t so sad.
Republicans own the shutdown, obstructionism, austerity, dysfunction, divisiveness, personal attacks, deception, and misinformation. Their campaign of distortion, double standards and elevation of the term “bearing false witness” to an art form is an open secret weapon used to extract the last vestiges of the middle class; not only to satisfy their insatiable avarice, but to vindictively punish Americans for rejecting their tired ideologies.
Has anyone ever noticed that 100% of the time, attempting to hold Republicans accountable the subject is immediately changed; empty & duplicitous accusations start flying like bats from Carlsbad Caverns, the sophomoric (and undersigned) use of Socratic methodology emerges, or as a last resort are denounced as un-American or treasonous?
One such person exemplifies such behavior. Right here - in this forum - on a daily basis.
As Republicans cannot win on the issues, they’re resorting to voter suppression and rigging elections. It’s happening and spreading to more and more states; while they keep the distractive propaganda flowing (Fox news) like the Big Muddy.
Remember, as soon as you hear a tried and true hot button issues come up – (tick tick tick) - you can count on the GOP to be planning another nefarious act of economic sabotage.
Democrats are by any measure damn near as bad. They just aren’t quite as professional in their tactics.
Why thanks for the compliment Maximus. It's nice to be associated with new life, renewal and where the best and brightest come from.
Whereas you are just.... a dick.
Double entendre', quite intended.
But do a little historical research. It should clear up (or enrage you)even more to just what we've been doing for decades.
Thou crusty botch of nature!
Hast thou never an eye in thy head?
You speak with such unskillful wonder: or, if your knowledge be more, it is much darkened in boorish malice.
Thus Thy bones are hollow; impiety surly had made a feast of thee.
Sorry Zableedofisterix, but the biggest rogue state, guilty of terrorism on an unprecedented scale, is the one you live in.
And while you're looking the other way, the GOP distraction action faction brings us another episode of 'drill here, drill now' news:
In typical Orwellian fashion, Republicans are pushing so called 'energy security bills'- that are nothing more than giveaways to oil and gas companies. Their proposals speed up permits for oil and gas drilling on federal lands, mandate that a quarter of all nominated federal acreage be available for leasing, and bar any federal regulation of fracking. In other words give oil and gas companies the uncontested right to drill wherever and wherever they want on public lands.
And here's the best part. If an individual does not like any proposed drilling project and wanted to oppose it, he or she would have to pay a $5,000 fee to file an official protest.

P.S. Don't forget to call or write your representatives and say NO to the TPP and NO to the presidents 'fast track' request.
The only way out of the clusterf#ck that is the ACA, or the outrageously inequitable status quo is a Canadian style health care for all system.
The fight for it will be an extremely difficult road to travel- but it will happen. And when it does, Republicans will be crying and pleading like Rocky Sullivan's last moments in 'Angels With Dirty Faces'.
"It's a turkey that by eatin time will have morphed into a CROW!!"
LOL That's awesome Jesse!
Here’s a thought.
Outlaw health care insurance. I’d be willing to bet a doctor’s visit wouldn’t cost $150 anymore for very long. Fewer hypochondriacs. By-pass surgery wouldn’t cost eighty grand.
As per free market theory (and one of the tenets of libertarianism) shouldn’t overall costs decline while quality of care increase due to available practitioners having to compete?
Just a thought.
"Obama's nominees are far, far, far left."
Who, and how?
