Wasn't the ordinance to ban originally created in the first place to discourage immigrants moving into the area from south of the border from having livestock in their yards? Since they're known to keep goats, chickens in their yards in their native countries, it was feared they were bringing the practice along with them across the border?

jt6gR3hM sorry bup. Pictures and video don't lie. Actually, the only people who denigrate their own country are the ones who are in denial or attempt to hide or cover up its wrongs and inhumane acts or attempt to excuse or justify them.

jt6gr3 said: "What’s your point? Are you hoping that an American raped a female prisoner or at least tricked her into having sex with him (or her???)? Maybe if a female prisoner was pregnant the guards forced her to have an abortion or just killed the baby by smashing its head on the cell walls? Just as well would be if they got it an infant size orange jump suit and hanged the wee terrorist from the ceiling by its arms? Boy - O - Boy wouldn’t you have a barrel of fun with a story like that to beat America in the head with? Keep dreaming as it just might be your lucky day

WOW!!! Someone has either sick fantasy, vivid imagination or has taken part in some pretty cruel, inhumane atrocities. btw jt--used any Iraqi heads for soccer balls lately? just wondering.

Yeah, right, laughing@Uboy. Just like they were once openly pitching a fit locally about busing inner-city students to that new school on that mountaintop?

joneses, the term animals is in the eye of the beholder. To others who have been gravely affected by America's foreign policies in certain regions around the world, YOU are the animals.

So this is what Mr. Austins forced resignation is all about? He called some racists racists? Then they gathered their little minions to complain? soooooooooooo typical SOUTHERN. Those types did the same thing to control and destroy dissention in another era. The Civil Rights Movement. They went out of their way to destroy families, careers and the livelihood particuarly whites who supported it.

Stick to your principles, Mr. Austin. They can try and take every material thing away, but if you're principles remain intact, they can never neither harm you nor control you.

Godspeed SIR!

Ms. Gerber, don't listen to these people. They want to control free speech by having only their opinions heard. If you listen to them the Chattanooga Times/Free Press will be destroyed.

A nagging question: Are there, or have there been women held at Guatanamo? As recent as 2006 or 2007 a reporter claims to have seen a medical form prisoners had to fill out for medical attention left lying on a desk. What caught their eye was on the form they noted the individual was listed as pregnant. If true, was the woman already pregnant when she got there, or was she impregnated by one of the guards. And what became of the child if she was able to carry hiim or her to term?

Makes a helluva lot o' sense mucanuck. Remember when they blamed the poison gas on Saddam Hussein during some short-lived conflict with Iran? I think it was Iran. Well, anyways, no one knows for sure who used that poisonous gas. It could have even been some third party outside the mix altogether to heightened the war or so it could later be used against Hussein, and as an excuse to remove him from power?
