Remember the young man that cut the throat of his friend, remember the thug that killed an Officer in this city of Chattanooga and the family that helped him. Remember the story of the woman that was killed by a gentleman that claimed his car was stolen after he tragically rolled over her body and left the scene. All crime is close to home and pretty much confined within ethnic groups. One reason people forget these criminals is because they look like them and those same people hate looking in the mirror.

"happywithnewbulbs" your true sin is PRIDE in your self describe superiority over others and your judgement of those less fortunate to be blessed with the same capacity to spread cynicism laced with venom. Don't worry you have a lot of company.

Lr103 please do not get bent out of shape over the comments of the stupid. If a mentally challenged child blurts out, you do not strike him, you either re-educate or confined him to keep the rest of us safe. If that's impossible then you arm yourself, as the NRA suggest, and prepare for the worse, should they fall off their pedestal and come to your "hood" with those same attitudes. I could care less about the comments of bigots, self entitled, and the spiritually challenged. I am prepared. Their lies only fool and fuel them. Imagine telling yourself a lie and believing it, how sick.

Lr103 I am certain that Hater-Nooga has been around for a long time. Do not be fooled by the situation one bit as a lot of its inhabitants reside on both mountains, Lookout and Signal, and in the state to our south. These people work together to tear our community apart. We do not have to let them. I am ready, as many are, to take our City back from the criminal corporate minds that seek financial gain by exploiting the tragedy they help to create. Chattanooga is a great City and areas that have their housing projects on wheels are no different as they have their criminals not only on the streets, but in their governments as well.

Actually this situation is a tragedy, but an even worse tragedy is the mental state and lack of critical thought ability for "riverman" and "MasterChefLen", stupidity at its best I say, but hey, Manny Rico can share a bit of the blame for this as he, like the rest of us, is prone to stupid comments and nothing else. Not sure what is meant by the term "hood dwellers" but if my suspicions are right, hopefully I will see the two of you there. If not for a solution, then maybe for a meeting to get together and see who to blame next.

It is clear that this woman Jan Turner is a menace and desires to harm people she has a problem with. If the story is accurate then she has falsified records and then attempted to use this to harm another. Her actual charge should be abuse of process and official oppression, and her superiors should also be charged since there was no checks and balance. Lillian Smith should return to her original job with no possibility of a transfer, because if she does not, then the victory is hollow as it stands. Jan Turner should not be able to terminate anyone as interim her superiors should do this.

When the school systems were separate these problems did not exist. The merging of the systems to save the smaller cities cost Chattanooga too much. Now that the smaller communities have stolen enough tax money to shore up their schools it is way past time forChattanoogan's to rethink the merger.

Chattanooga, Please, fight against the Home Rule that Littlefield is touting in the media. We should have impeached this SICK man. Home Rule simply means Chattanoogans will have less say in what happens in their city. We will have People like Curtis Adams, Rhonda Thurman and Charles Love Governing us. Look at the damage these people did with limited power, think of the DAMAGE they could do with unlimited power.
