I don't think I have seen this layed out as well anywhere as in the post you wrote. Thank you. I used part of it on my facebook page with Links back. I just wanted you to know that I though very highly of your remarks, and shared.

Funny how Chevy and Ford are the ultimate icons of the hard-working American but some drivers suddenly get 'the vapors' when thinking about the people who designed and built their Real American machine.
Obama did reinvigorate a badly damaged American industry and put American workers back to work in the process. Romney says he "loves to fire people" and his history at Bain bears that out. It's your call.
The republicans are split three ways at the moment: They have the Wall Street faction, who understand and like Romney; the Tea Party/libertarian faction, who really get Ron Paul; and the religious conservatives who can relate to what Rick Santorum has to say (though, any other day a Catholic would be a heretic).
In the past, the GOP could count on the third group to always go along and support the party because very few people change their religion.
They have trouble this year (and a split primary vote) largely because the second group after a real economic crash have their eyes open and aren't dancing to the music and the third group have real trouble voting for a Mormon.
The party's worst fear is that groups two and three may sit this one out or vote as independents because the GOP candidates on tap can't cross the divides.
P.S. Be sure to vacuum out that pesky union dust when you pick up your new ride from the dealer.
