And here is another concern - where are the people going to work? It has been shown over and over that 18 - 20 percent of the jobs require a college education. I am all for a college education; I have one and did well. But, the statistics show, in this economy, people with occupational certificates get the jobs. Around 80% of the job openings are for people with occupational skills. Additionally, these are well paying jobs, and in many instances the jobs pay more than jobs requiring college degrees.
This is just another push by the elite, snooty, snobs running the education department in Tennessee. None of these people have educational experience in the workplace. I am referring to the actual teaching for years with degrees in education. It has become an elitist world!
