“The assumption there is that only white people think alike and only black people think alike,” she said. “And that’s insulting.”

Hambone, Thank you for your seemingly example of a "life well lived".

If you read my previous post detailing my immigrant Grandfather, my empathy for the plight of the rising cost of Medical care for the aging should become clear.

However, I simply cannot continue to support my government involving itself in matters it has only proven to make worse.

In retrospect, my post regarding the 47% could be viewed disparagingly to all 47%. This is not my intention, nor position.

Let me reset: If we allow the future of our great country, to be determined by those who themselves do not contribute to its greatness, we are destined to another 4-years of BHO. It’s akin to Congress voting for raises for each other. Why not vote for the guy who promises the most hand-outs? What has BHO done for the poorest of Americans? The unemployment rate among black Americans is nearly double that of the national average! From where I’m sitting, that’s “Hopeless, and Pocket Change”.

I don’t pretend to know the answer to fixing Medicare, or Immigration. But I believe, if left to the Federal Government, it will be worse.

Thomas Jefferson once said:

“He who knows best knows how little he knows.” “He who knows nothing is closer to the truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

I’m looking for a conservative and strict constitutionalist. As of today… That looks like Newt.

This is rich! you lectured on NOV, 28

("Ad hominem" means: appealing to one's prejudices, emotions, or special interests rather than to one's intellect or reason; or attacking an opponent's character rather than answering his argument.

This conversation is regarding BHO v. Newt 2012 (or other), Yet, you attach GWB?

I disagreed with Medicare D, Agreed with both wars (still do), and believe he spent like a drunken democrat.

Since GWB is not on the ballot, and this is now BHO's economy, I think it is more prudent to discuss it. Unemployment has nearly doubled under his watch, he has spent more $$ than all other presidents combined, and by his own admission (and Biden's) it is now their economy.

You vote how you like, and continue to bring up valid points, but don't lecture on Ad hominem debate one week, then attack those who disagree.

Can we agree we are heading the wrong direction? I think Yes. Hopefully, the 47% of the takers will not make it to the polls.

Respectfully, USA in 2012.

Ricardo, my money and the rest of the 53% of taxpayers are already supporting the criminals and families.

My Grandparents and mother, legally immigrated here in the 50's. They contributed as hardworking honest people.

We need to seal our borders to illegals, PERIOD. We have no easy solution to the current batch of criminals.

The bottom line IMHO, is those criminals who can contribute to our republic, should join the back of the line to legal citizenship.

Note to the 47% of Non-Tax payers: It's the economy STUPID.

The 47% of “Takers” have a vested, but ignorant, interest in the re-election of B.H.O. Another 4 years of B.H.O. and we will have a deficit we will never recover from.

The Taxpayers cannot afford to subsidize your very existence. Newt can do it, and I believe he will return us to the America of Hope.

And yes, this is Change you can believe in!

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” - Thomas Jefferson
