Not exactly sure what is going on in Copper Hill with youth football..but if you want something pure and good, check out Scenic City Youth Football...14 different rec leagues under one umbrella spearheaded by Bobby Dunn of Harrison Recreation, it was formed several years ago and is the example of how youth football should be...check it out, there will be games at Finley tomorrow...

MocTastic, given the current state of the NFL, would that really help Winston? I believe Mark Cuban was correct the NFL will implode in less than a decade

Perhaps it is time for conference commissioners to take control of the situations such as Winston, I agree with Tim Brando the league should be the ones issuing punishment, maybe some of this stuff will stop who cares if he is 20 he is getting a college education for NOTHING and he should have some decorum in his behavior, hate to sound like an old geeser but too too many of the younger generation of athletes truly believe they are ENTITLED to do as they please just because they are who they are...Maybe the dude can flat out play, but I would not want him on my sideline, to quote that great Crimson Tide player, "stupid is, as stupid does"

One final note...now that football season is going...If you are going to your local watering hole to watch a game, leave the dang jersey at home...if you over over the age of 12 and you were not issued a jersey by a coach, leave it at home lol

There is only one FNL coach and that is Billy Bob Thornton...the series was nothing more that a glorified soap opera that could not draw flies in the ratings and was cancelled rather quickly...No Rushmore of fictional coaches is complete without Hayden Fox, I mean the opening of the show each week was a shout out to Noogaville with the Chattanooga/Nebraska St game ball...I will wholeheartedly agree with Normal Dale...You must also add Lou Brown of the hapless Cleveland Indians band of stiffs in Major League..

There you have it...Gary Gaines (THE ONLY FNL THAT MATTERS), Hayden Fox (Coach)...Normal Dale (Hoosiers)and Lou Brown (Major League) enough said..

As for the NFL, how about the story of PC gone wild in making RG3 turn his shirt inside out for the post game press conference there is a difference in PC and stupidity, and that is STUPIDITY!!!

Interesting about the scandal...being there is a new one heating up with Justin Verlander and some rather provocative photos with he and I believe Kate Upton...you could have Mr. Farve and his sexting binge a while back...how about Ricky Petino and his dalliances...and for crying out loud FORE Tiger and his waitress fetish...so so many more how about the man who snitched and plea bargained his way out of murder charges, can you name him? Seems the worldwide leader did not have a problem hiring him...

I will give you Arnie on the list, he will always be thought of as the man who brought golf to the masses...young whippersnappers will not realize before there was #2 Derek Jeter, Jeter #2, there was a man tremendously more popular and that is Mickey Mantle, who still may be the best to ever play the game even with two bad wheels...around these parts might even have to throw a bone to the clorox orange and put Peyton Poo on the list, although it is still Eli 2-0 and Peyton 1-3 in the big game, oops Seahawks just scored again...and what the heck, during the 80's you will not find any athlete more popular than Hulk Hogan, say what you will, but anyone that thinks rasslin isn't athletic is wearing blinders, and I will take you and let you see some of these folks at work and see just how tough it is
