Rushmore of baseball announcers...Vin, Jack Buck, Russ Hodges (giants win the pennant..), and my personal favorite Dizzy Dean. Sorry Braves fans none of your guys come close to cracking even the top 20...so let it be written, so let it be true

Did you page JG??? Rushmore of lead singers...Mick Jagger, Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey, and drumroll please, David Lee Roth...yes although I will give Michael McDonald an honorable mention for taking the Doobies to heights they had never been prior to his joining the band...great job by Doogie yesterday...I miss covering high school football but the demands of my side occupation dictate...looking forward to the season with Mocs and Ridgeland...Good point on the HOF voting...but there will NEVER be a unanimous choice...hell even Clemente and Munson were not 100%

MASH HAD NO SIDEKICK CHARACTER????...What MASH were you watching? Trapper John (holdover character from the movie) was top shelf, also Radar could be considered...The first Bob Newhart Show had the hilarious Howard Borden (Bill Daily) and even the second incarnation, Newhart had the fantastic Tom Poston (FYI, who was married to Suzanne Pleshette)

I agree with MocTastic, Bonds is a CHEATER and does not deserve consideration...The younger generation (those under 40) think it is ok to cheat if you say I'm sorry...WRONG...no Bonds, Clemens, etc.

Nice to see that David Tyree is back with the Giants in the front office, however he is in the same boat as Tony Dungy in that now he is being attacked for his faith...sad indeed...It was my honor to interview David when he came to Chattanooga just a few weeks following "the catch" and his story is amazing...and just to remind those Eli 2 Peyton 1...

Not much comment locally regarding the elitist Duke University going after the John Wayne's family (yes THE John Wayne) and their signature label "Duke" whiskey. Their claim is that it damages the reputation of the institution...Thank goodness that KICKBALL is over, if it is so popular world wide why did the Lookouts have 2000 more Saturday night than CFC????

NDF is a terribly underrated film...we find out just about how Maxwell (Mac Davis) is based on Dandy Don himself...and the ever whiny backup (Staubach)...one of my favorite sports films
