JMC you are spot on with your perception...I would say something but I shall refrain...It is indeed sad when the mighty JR is gone, Mocs game tonight is an afterthought on sports reports and not one mention of the Lookouts and Smokies division deciding series starting tonight...perhaps you can go to Riverfront Nights and enjoy the money the Blue Cross shelled out to enjoy some his favorite NOBODY HAS EVER HEARD of bands lol

JMC there is so much ill will against the Mocs today, and I guess they want to suffer through another washed out year by the Clorox Orange...who knows what their issue is with the Mocs program...The most idiotic thing I heard all week was Jeff Styles asking Jim Reynolds on air, if the Mocs could compete attendance-wise with the CFC...my god, is Styles that far removed from reality?????

As we are preparing for the transition from baseball to my busiest time of year, football season the following is submitted for you approval (rod serling reference) as unbreakable records...Richard Petty's victory total in NASCAR will never be touched...Joe DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak will also continue to stand the test of time...Of course you must include the SEVEN count em SEVEN consecutive NCAA hoops titles won by UCLA (put that in your pipe and smoke it Kentucky fans)...and the NCAA scoring record of held by Pistol Pete

Rushmore of baseball announcers...Vin, Jack Buck, Russ Hodges (giants win the pennant..), and my personal favorite Dizzy Dean. Sorry Braves fans none of your guys come close to cracking even the top 20...so let it be written, so let it be true

Did you page JG??? Rushmore of lead singers...Mick Jagger, Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey, and drumroll please, David Lee Roth...yes although I will give Michael McDonald an honorable mention for taking the Doobies to heights they had never been prior to his joining the band...great job by Doogie yesterday...I miss covering high school football but the demands of my side occupation dictate...looking forward to the season with Mocs and Ridgeland...Good point on the HOF voting...but there will NEVER be a unanimous choice...hell even Clemente and Munson were not 100%
