Billy the big blue tornado win over the Tim and Faith Academy was something to behold, I was able to catch the majority of the 2nd half after an excursion to volleyball earlier...big win, good luck to the team this week as I will be in Panther Land...

JMC as is standard SoCon will list the team with the better overall record first...this Saturday is homecoming so the crowd should be an ok number...

jomo has started a potential tidal wave of response that Butchy could leave those clorox orange clad vols and head off to the land of maze and blue, hoards of fans will insist Tennessee is a better job than Michigan which we all know is not true...

Ryder Cup was in a word PATHETIC, uninspired players with the exception of Reed, and a less than par performance by the captain, I should have slept in on Sunday...and hey Phil Mickelson SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE, you come off like a whining little brat, lost MAJOR respect for you after your tirade...

Rushmore...Mustang, Cadi Coupe de Ville, Camaro, and drum roll please Lincoln Town Car...so let it be written, so let it be fact....

Your Rushmore poses tougher than you might know...First and foremost on the list will be Mark Harmon, a former UCLA QB who did beat Nebraska among others during his years with the Bruins and is now arguably the most powerful producer of television shows in Hollywood namely NCIS...Second would have to be Buddy Reynolds a former RB at FSU, who did quite well himself as BURT Reynolds...third might just be Tom Jackson although it pains me to put anyone with the worldwide leader on the mountain...and a shout out to that former Mocs hoopster Dennis Haskins aka Mr. Belding...so let it be written so let it be fact....

The Jameis Winston situation worsens by the second, how long before Jimbo just cuts ties with him?

Now that Tommy John surgery is using cadaver tendons, could we be facing another "dead" ball era?

Clayton Kershaw is simply the best...I dont save many things from games but the roster and score sheet from his Lookouts appearance are neatley tucked away as a highlight

First your Rushmore...for us of another generation the measuring stick of childrens programming was Captain Kangaroo...second would have to be a local Bob Brandy, every kid in town wanted to be on that show...third would Miss Marcia and Funtime (another local), and last but certainly not least would be Bozo the clown...sorry to rain on you parade, but thankfully myself and others who chime in grew up when local kid's show were the norm...

How fitting that when Jeter is finished at Yankee Stadium so will we also say our final goodbye to Bob Sheppard...in this day of homering it up more which is necessary, Sheppard is the gold standard of PA announcers and we can all take a lesson or two from him...So very tired of hearing high school guys giving a play by play or questioning calls, forgive them Bob they know not what they do...there are a few good ones locally, but always remember it is also entertainment and you must be prepared to keep the crowd entertained with music, etc...

Jameis Winston is a blanking IDIOT enough said...his off the field shenanigans will end up costing him MILLIONS, he will go no higher than the 4th round...so let it be written, so let it be done...

Georgia wins BIG 42-10

Not exactly sure what is going on in Copper Hill with youth football..but if you want something pure and good, check out Scenic City Youth Football...14 different rec leagues under one umbrella spearheaded by Bobby Dunn of Harrison Recreation, it was formed several years ago and is the example of how youth football should be...check it out, there will be games at Finley tomorrow...

MocTastic, given the current state of the NFL, would that really help Winston? I believe Mark Cuban was correct the NFL will implode in less than a decade

Perhaps it is time for conference commissioners to take control of the situations such as Winston, I agree with Tim Brando the league should be the ones issuing punishment, maybe some of this stuff will stop who cares if he is 20 he is getting a college education for NOTHING and he should have some decorum in his behavior, hate to sound like an old geeser but too too many of the younger generation of athletes truly believe they are ENTITLED to do as they please just because they are who they are...Maybe the dude can flat out play, but I would not want him on my sideline, to quote that great Crimson Tide player, "stupid is, as stupid does"

One final note...now that football season is going...If you are going to your local watering hole to watch a game, leave the dang jersey at home...if you over over the age of 12 and you were not issued a jersey by a coach, leave it at home lol

There is only one FNL coach and that is Billy Bob Thornton...the series was nothing more that a glorified soap opera that could not draw flies in the ratings and was cancelled rather quickly...No Rushmore of fictional coaches is complete without Hayden Fox, I mean the opening of the show each week was a shout out to Noogaville with the Chattanooga/Nebraska St game ball...I will wholeheartedly agree with Normal Dale...You must also add Lou Brown of the hapless Cleveland Indians band of stiffs in Major League..

There you have it...Gary Gaines (THE ONLY FNL THAT MATTERS), Hayden Fox (Coach)...Normal Dale (Hoosiers)and Lou Brown (Major League) enough said..

As for the NFL, how about the story of PC gone wild in making RG3 turn his shirt inside out for the post game press conference there is a difference in PC and stupidity, and that is STUPIDITY!!!
