JG I can't believe two days in a row I have to somewhat agree with you...the UNDERPERFORMERS list is really good...although I would have to put Dale Jr at the top of the heap over Chokio...Junior has never lived up to the hype...of course part of that is applicable to the Wallflowers...how often do the offspring truly match what the parent accomplished...Dylan and Dale? The only one that comes to mind is Hank Jr has far exceeded what his father did and Hank Sr even with such a short career is still regarded by most as the KING of country music...Eddie Murphy is quite frankly a joke! He career died when he did "The Nutty Professor", you do not and I REPEAT do not remake the classic Jerry Lewis movie...I do know how the second fiddles feel, I run second banana in my field in many instances, however I still have the passion to do the best I can, maybe thats why my phone rings?

MocTastic we must forgive JG his age how was he to know Sly was in several films prior to Rocky..Lords of Flatbush also starred a pre Fonz Henry Winkler...we must give him credit however for his mention of what is considered the greatest motion picture of all time, Citizen Kane...lets throw the debut bit to music lest we forget Guns and Roses "Appetite for Destruction"

JMC..I was waiting on JG to comment regarding the death penalty that has been dealt to the SoCon...Does not matter who is brought in now, the loss of Davidson permanently places the conference on the bottom of the RPI..I did listen to the grand old clorox himself yesterday and it did appear to be a shock to him...I honestly believe he is semi-concerned about CHATTANOOGA to some extent, but his orange glasses fog real vision...He was doing his best to make the city believe Vonn Bell was going to Tenn, when I told him he would NOT happen...FYI, the Reader's Digest survey of the most trusted people in America was just released and what a sad commentary on this nation when Peyton Poo Poo is ranked higher than Billy Graham

The Foster hire was indeed a huge home run...now perhaps all these clorox orange loons, that sheepishly support the Mocs will shut up...all you could hear from the most vocal of them was hire someone with ties to Pat, hire someone with ties to Pat...who would your rather have some wannabe(adams or little summitt) or a proven WINNER...GREAT JOB DAVID BLACKBURN!

The SoCon is on LIFE SUPPORT and needs to be put out of its misery...the exit of Davidson was a shot to the head...for the mid majors has strong as football can be...basketball is the life blood for tv money, etc...and with Davidson now gone the conference will be lucky to to survive...the RPI will now be at the bottom of the list...VMI, ETSU, and Mercer can't possibly replace what has been lost...I suspect Blackburn is already exploring all options, but if Chattanooga can't be the big dog then get out...Immarino is to quote Col Nathan Jessup is "messing with the wrong marine"...the conference can't survive by adding two football teams that do not truly exist yet, but the death blow from adding the basketball programs is even more sad

Pride of St. Louis is the story of Dizzy Dean...with particular attention paid to his start in broadcasting and the blowback from his use of the king's english...

A few things to chime in on this morning.

Finally saw 42 this weekend...almost empty theatre, but good baseball film...by far not the best ever, but resonably good and they did mention Robinson's Court Martial which was a suprise...it might make the top ten baseball films of all time...but it is not on the Rushmore of diamond darlings...Bull Durham, Pride of the Yankees, Bang The Drum Slowly, and Pride of St. Louis...we know JG you are far too young to have seen at least two of them

Let the Lebron Lovefest begin...enough already!

My Sunday viewing always includes The Sports Reporters...but my question to the worldwide leader is where is your apology to Tim Tebow for the bashing of his religious beliefs when you apologize for Chris Broussard's statements regarding the coming out of Collins...The entire panel yesterday was so enthralled by his "heroism" it borders on insanity...according to ESPN it apparently is not PC to state your faith and belief system

Tyler Summitt????? Give me a break, the Lady Mocs deserve better than an unproven assistant who happens to have an iconic last name...the clorox orange fans (Dr. B) are jumping all over this leading everyone to believe it is a done deal, similar to his wondering if Frank Reed has lost control of the Lady Mocs softball program...

Great story by Doogie on the pathetic track and field facilities in Hamilton County
