Tis the season for domestic violence related crimes. More than likely there is more to this story. Always remember innocent until proven guilty.

Absolutely a wonderful way to help people in need. It would be great at anytime of the year as well. Of course if the federal government has its way there will be no money to help the truly needy, only the needful politicians and bureaucrats. Wishing all a safe holiday from Purple Law Firm in Chattanooga

Next the Federal government will attempt to pass a "Keep Silent in the Car" law. Yes cell phones can distract a driver, but so can having a conversation with passengers or correcting your children. Ultimately personal responsibility is just that "personal" it should not be mandated by Washington. Let keep our constitutional freedoms

Put drug offenders in jail so that they can get off drugs? It is common knowledge that there are plenty of drugs in jail and prison - usually means staff is involved in some fashion.

Freedom of speech Yes! Freedom to take over government owned property and kill the grass - not really a First Amendment right. The right to assemble has long been held to limitations - the long term use of government property would be a limitation.

The issue before the Georgia Supreme Court at this time was not about guilt or innocence. The primary question is based in procedural issues and whether these was any undue prejudice to Mr. Higgenbottom for the State's failure to provide him with a speedy trial. Higgenbottom probably should have filed a demand for a speedy trial as soon as he was arrested. Purple Law Firm is licensed in Tennessee, but not licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Of course this is the most expensive juvenile facility, it houses the most severe juvenile offenders. What will happen when those offenders are transferred to other facilities. Costs at those facilities will increase, and so will the risk for the other juvenile inmates. Save money elsewhere Purple Law Firm, Chattanooga, Tennessee

No matter how well the contract for services is written breaches of contract occur. Of course once a party breaches the contract it is very difficult to get them to voluntarily turn over incriminating evidence. That is why courthouses are built and attorneys have a job.

Tort reform gets good political points - claiming to lower health care costs by lowering malpractice insurance premiums. However, the best defense to malpractice is don't do it. Of course this case will be decided by a jury if not settled, but the caps on recovery will make it very difficult for this family to be financially compensated to a proper degree. This is good news indeed. Now maybe it will be worth trying to save a home that is in foreclosure When the market and values were down many people were upside down in their homes, and keeping the house was just not worth the effort.
