Like PitBullsAreLovers said,a BSL does NOT work because they never solve the problem! I belong to a wonderful group of people that help to educate the public about dogs & ownership & many of them are Pitt Bull owners and I also believe that we as the public dog owners really need to try to educate & offer information to others as well as the non dog owners out there as to how loving the Pitts are as well as the other breeds that have been "picked" out for a BSL.I think that ANY breed is capable of snapping or biting anyone if prevoked or attacked.I kinda think like this..if my kids come to me saying the other one hit them,I first ask what they did to CAUSE the actual hitting and its always because they hit the other one FIRST even though they didnt tell me that to begin with.Now do we teach & educate our children right wrong and how to treat other people?..yes we do..so why dont we TEACH and educate people about how to treat dogs?Too many wonderful dogs have lost in the battle..when its the owners who are at fault.
