Mr. Kennedy is correct in his observation that Tennesee will as in the past be a Republican stronghold in the upcoming Presidential Election. Mr. Kennedy continues that somehow we should be content with the idea that niether party will tour here nor attemp to win votes in this state. Instead we should celebrate, go to festivals, ball games etc and be grateful our mudane lifes are otherwise uninterrupted. The State of Tennesee has been Republicanat State and National level since 1996. My point is this: Between 1996 and 2012 a period of 16 years with the Republican Party representing Tennesse Our taxes, budget. educational issues, crime and so on are a Republican issue. If after 16 years these problems have yet to be solved in a satisfactory manner then I contend providing the Republican Party thas ruled especially at state and local level That essentially they have failed to lead. After 16 years of rule ? really? How long must one party be elected and essentially fail the test of basic leadership without accountabilty for the past? After 16 years to affect change good for all of the citezens of this state regarding education taxes etc when will excuses stop accountability take form aand true reform take place
