I just wonder how many of the slanderous people here have been to Mosaic? I am not a member there, however I have been there numerous times..on Christian nights and on secular nights. Each time, I talked with the staff there (which by the way is completely volunteer basis for all of you making accusations about them pocketing money) and on each night, I was presented with the people presenting the Gospel. No - it wasn't beating me over the head, but it was simple relationship building, advice giving words of encouragement. Why do they let secular bands in?? Pretty simple to me - ministry is about not just talking to fellow Christians; its about talking to secular people and meeting them where they are at. Its not our job to change them, its our job to meet them and let God do the changing. Props to Mosaic! Anyone who thinks you can minister to inner city and gangs for 10 years without incident is living in ignorant fantasy land. Do the ministers that visit Alcohol Annonymous expect you to be sober before they will talk to you?? No, they meet you in your drunken stuper and walk with you towards sobriety.
