Chattanooga: Old pipes pose problems

"A 100-year-old Chattanooga sewer system could face fines and an order to upgrade the entire system, which could cost hundreds of millions of dollars, state officials said this week."
"Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation officials said this week it looked likely the order would be in favor of replacing at least part of the system, but they did not know when the order would be issued."
That was 3 years ago.....I guess it was cheaper to pay-off the powers that be than to spend "hundreds of millions of dollars" to fix the problem.
I'd say the fragrance of "Eau-De-Peeeuuuuu" will be around for many more years in our city.....That's my prediction anyway.
Health care reform is much needed in this country. But ABSOLUTELY NOT done in the fashion that Obamacare was fabricated and run through like a freight train. Something as important to the good of us all should not be rushed through like this bill was just to get something done by a deadline that some politician has set to fluff his ego. Yeah I'm talking about Obama The KING of narcissist.
The healthcare systems that have FAILED should be studied (Canada, Europe) with the weaknesses identified so that we do not make the same mistakes they did.
So, I suppose Polosi's instructions to "Pass this bill so we can see what's in it!" is honest and sane? hahahahaha.....their honest and sane alright. hahahahaha....yer crack'n me up!

Obama does not care about the constitution nor what Americans want. He's gonna ram whatever he likes down our throats. Better vote him out before we "find out what's in it" and many other moves he has made or plans to make. Better start reading Breitbart.com and the vetting of the president before it's too late.
TFP has become a joke of a paper. I refuse to call it a NEWSpaper because it is very biased politically rather than Fair and Impartial reporting. TFP tries to spin the news it prints towards it's political favor or beliefs. They obviously have a vendetta against TVA. I refuse to participate because I do have friends and family that work or have worked at TVA, but who doesn't? I have decided the moment I see this personal infomation in the TFP, I will support them and cancel. I'll take the USA Today in it's place. 14.95 per month and includes the E-edition. Go ahead TFP....Make my day.
