Po-dunk Polk County, enough said!
Clearly Mitt Romney won this round in the first series of debates. To his credit Romney being the self made man that he is clearly has a much better handle on what the US needs to do to bring itself out of the "funk" that we all are in at the moment, Obama is nothing more than a hollow suit and in this readers opinion never had any business being POTUS in the first place. Also the really entertaining debate will be is when Ryan debates Obama's court jester Biden, this clown who doesn't have the capacity to keep his mouth shut and is a complete idiot will be taken to the woodshed by Ryan.......stay tuned, it will certainly be entertaining!
So what's the kids name......John Conner???
I totally agree with Will Lance that Corridor K if built should be along the existing Hwy 64 road bed (option 2) not north of the Ocoee gorge just to have TDOT destroy the beautiful scenery in the Cherokee National Forest. It's time to further improve Hwy 64 and make it the true scenic by-way it was always meant to be. To construct a new road to bypass the Ocoee gorge up the mountain at nearly 400 million dollars in this kind of economic decay we all have be in is wasteful spending of hard earned tax payers money
and surely it could be used for a much more useful cause. TDOT.....do the right thing and apply some common sense here instead of squandering tax payer money!
A road like Corridor K shouldn't go through public national forest. If the money is going to be spent fix the existing road bed that is already there, another road isn't the answer and it will just destroy the area north or south of the Ocoee gorge. The local people who have to use this road every day need a better and safer road but don't seem to appreciate what they have in there very own backyard and a new road other than what is already there that can be improved at a much cheaper cost to the tax payers is what needs to be done.
