Please stop categorizing Ms. Pittman's tragic accident as a "cyclist" incident. Motor scooters are not "human powered vehicles," as a bicycles are, by definition. And to categorize the two together only creates confusion for motorists, etc.
As an avid cyclist and motor scooter enthusiast, I think I speak for a large audience.
Otherwise, thank you for raising awareness to all of our 2-wheeled groups in Chattanooga. Automobile drivers need to be more aware of bicycles, motor scooters and motorcycles. Cyclists, scooterists and motorcyclists need to be vigilant as well. Pay attention to your surroundings and always assume no one sees you.
Fiber to Home is what everyone needs in Chattanooga and the surrounding communities. As a business owner, I've seen nothing but positive results from the fiber service we use.
This lawsuit is an obvious attempt to slow down the inevitable and, really, will just be a backlash by creating more buzz for EPB's Fiber to Home.
