After reading this article about little Weston Wamp I am reminded of a quote from Senator Tom Harkin from Iowa concerning the elder George Bush; and I paraphase "George Bush woke up on third base and thinks that he hit a triple". That could just as easily be said about little Weston. This guy doesn't have a clue.

All this pro-Veteran talk coming from Mitt Romney is interesting, especially when you remember that he was on a religious mission during the worst of that war. In 1968 I was in an Infantry company in Viet Nam where I was severely wounded while at the same time Mitt was sightseeing in Paris. In light of this fact I suppose this would make him a splendid leader and an inspiration to all. His past history should show us that we can depend on him when the going gets tough.

I can't believe that the "proud conservatives" in Tennessee want federal money. What a bunch of hypocrites. It would appear that they don't hate federal money after all-they just don't want anyone else from receiving any. That would leave more for them.

It looks like old Jimmy just ignores the people who got us into this mess in a misguided attempt to be "cute". Just ignore the facts, it is the GOP and the Fox way. As for WEBMAN, the proud banker, he and his type are responsible for this disaster that the US and the rest of the world is in. Thanks for everything WEBMAN, you're a real genius.

It is good that a person's only alternative to someone like these two would be to leave. This is what happens when you vote away what little power you may have once had. The old saying "ignorance is bliss" would apply here. For every action there is a reaction. When you vote in the GOP, this is what you get. This is all you deserve.

What can a person say about this that has not already been said?

People in Tennessee obviously make too much money. Why else would they continue to elect people whose priority seems to be that of taking money out of their pockets. Good luck with that. You are on the bottom, I hope you like the view from down there.

I find it stunning that people can be so easily led by television advertizing. Political season is a goldmine for the advertizing agencies and the media. That is why they talk up differences in the candidates and the political parties. And of course the people just follow along and do as they are told. Unbelievable.
