no comment on the skins taking RG3 and cousins? It's hard to find the upside in that after they traded away their future draft picks through 2099 for a top QB and then use another early pick on a backup for him
Although I agree that the bounty ordeal is a huge issue and creates loads of bad press for the league and the Saints, I don't think the reality of the situation is as bad as it is forced to be perceived. If the players really had this malicious intent as their main stake in the last few seasons of games, you would be seeing more obvious attempts at injuring players. You think about these things when you watch players like Suh and Fairley with completely unfair hits, but the Saints haven't had anything like that happen. The bounty program obviously has its reasons for looking terrible, but in reality it just motivated the players to go make plays. Whether there is money on it or not they are going to go out and get their licks on the quarterback. Hearing from the players makes it more and more obvious how many teams really have these programs and it obviously looks terrible but it is how it is.
Watching Tim Tebow play is like watching Angels in the Endzone every Sunday.... but I would still rather see Christopher Lloyd dressed up as an angel than Tebow dressed up as a Bronco any day.
don't forget that LSU still hasn't won the SEC yet... With Jefferson starting at QB now their offense is extremely 1 dimensional and even Tyga fans are wondering if it will hold up
I think it's about time John Calipari gets an investigation. His 1-year NBA training program has been a joke since he was at Memphis and somehow he still hasn't gotten in trouble
As quick as Murray is, I think his running skills are a bit overhyped this year. His coaches have been stressing the importance of him staying in the pocket and making his reads before he takes off and risks getting injured but that just makes him all the more dangerous in the passing game. Bray seems solid going against defenses like Buffalo and other almost mediocre defenses but I don't know how he'll handle going up against a UGA defense that has improved vastly over last year and has been getting better game by game. Overall... Dawgs on top. 31-28
I'm pretty sure mike bobo is rubbin aloe all over richt's rear end right now if they don't come up big next week they can go ahead and start packing their bags. I hate to ditch the man so early but after last season there isn't much patience left in athens. i think nutt is gonna be gone too, and unlike richt who shouldnt have much trouble finding a new job, i don't think anyone is looking for a nuttjob next season
sometimes you gotta wonder if vick is gonna be able to stay out of trouble with his new ginormous payday... the man came out of poverty as a child and never learned how to use his money responsibly, now that he is got punished he is getting just as much money as before. What do you think he's gonna say when his old friends start asking for some money? Is he gonna be able to abandon everyone who got him into trouble to begin with? I don't think he'll last too long...
