First of all, you can't cure stupid. Why would anyone with an iota of common sense text while driving anyway. As for handsfree calls, I do this all the time but not to chat, only to keep in contact w/hubby and family but we state what we need and get off. Endless chatting on a phone while driving obviously is very distracting. All of us who honor other drivers should not be punished by people who just don't give a flying rats arse.

Sadly, the family pets perished in this family. It truly seems inhumane to me to allow a fire to take a house down when it could be prevented. I'm sure there would be folks to pitch in and pay the fee had they known...whatever happened to caring for one's neighbor. Shamefully, this is the way things are in our America. I'm appalled.

There are many fine people that still live in Red Bank and may even have felt safe. Sadly, we have many in our society like these non-human individuals who ganged up on an innocent young man, absolutely no consciences, sociopaths each and every one. Seems there is no where in this country that is truly safe. I pray these 4 sociopaths will never, ever get out of jail as they WILL strike again. The terror this young man must have experienced makes my heart hurt. God Bless his sweet family in the days ahead; I can't even imagine what hurt and loss they are experiencing.

Four cowards beating up on an innocent young man; this is the most revolting, disgusting, appalling thing that I can imagine happening to a loved one. To beat all, a former roommate was probably the one to set this up, a person (non-human IMO)whom this young man entrusted into his home. These 4 sociopaths with absolutely no conscience whatsoever should never see the light of day outside a jail cell again. Possibly someone on the inside will treat each one of them to the same fate they gave this young man.

And on what grounds were the charges being dismissed. No wonder criminals love the state of Tennessee; they get by with murder/theft/vandalism and on and on it goes. Disgusting pieces of crud. Poor Ms Bryant doing a good deed for people she thought were deserving. These people if you can actually call them human repulse me.

Amazing how companies can continue to justify pay raises for executives in the face of beyond significant losses. Common sense tells you if the company does well, pay goes up otherwise not, guess that is not the corporate method in America. Certainly makes HR-676 for Single Payer Universal Care look more pallatable. Of course, with all the insurance lobbyists parked in DC this is not going to happen.

The military Hummer hopefully will not go away and hopefully Saturn will not be canned as it is a well performing vehicle.

I find it ironic that GMs CEO was asked to resign and the CEOs of the failing banks who received TARP funds and rewarded non performing execs with bonuses after receiving TARP $ were not asked to leave also (the contracts on bonuses should have been broken the moment these greedy CEOs received TARP $. Talk about non-performance the financial industry has an edge on this. Reality needs to sink in in this country, I can't imagine anyone actually worth a million dollars in salary. Maybe someday this country will have actual politicians in DC that care about something other than padding their own pockets. Sen. Corker is one who cares and I appreciate his integrity and honesty!

We use a mobile pet service regularly in our area. The lady (Marla) would never, never, never have shaved our precious dogs without conferring with us first but then there is no need for shaving. What was done to Cody was criminal as I am a pet lover and could not believe what I was reading. There are mat splitters for mats on an animal if that was an issue (must handle with care but they work fine). This is incompetence at its worst!!! RIP Cody!!
