See? There's no need to get those wins back. Their own fans have said so. They don't need the playoffs or a hunk of wood with a piece of shiny metal on top to tell them they're number 1. Thank you redandblack.

Signal hired lawyers to go up against the TSSAA? Great move. It worked so well for Brentwood Academy.

It is clear that either Mr. Camping or God is confused. God is not the author of confusion. So, it would appear that God has not been talking to Mr. Camping. So who is Harold Camping listening to?

The good news here is that the young man is still eligible to attend school at Signal, so no violation there of "No Child Left Behind" or anything like that. And given he is such a good athlete he will no doubt get a scholarship to some college.

As a former high coach, I know that the details of the TSSAA can be tricky. Parents, coaches and administration need to be as diligent as possible to ensure that these things don't happen. If the TSSAA granted him eligibility to play, it is still the job of the consumer, in this case the young man and Signal Mountain, to understand all of the details of the transfer/eligibility rules.

Brentwood spent 10 years fighting the TSSAA over one case. They lost. I don't expect SMMHS to win this one either.

Having been a high school coach and worked within the TSSAA's rules, most of the posters here have missed the point.

Allegations were made. It's the TSSAA's job to look into those allegations. The allegations have to due with the young man's participation in his former school's spring game, as well as his residency.

The young man may have been cleared academically by the TSSAA, but other issues have come to light that do need to be investigated in order for the TSSAA to remain credible. The TSSAA does not go hunting. Someone reported a potential problem to them.

As to the TFP doing their homework, the writer again misses the point. The TFP isn't investigating SMMHS, the TSSAA is. The TFP is merely reporting on that.

A repentant miracle worker? Does this mean he no longer performs miracles?
