TVA has made improvements to the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant including new conduit seals, water barriers, and elevated diesel fill pipes to help ensure that the ERCW (Essential Raw Cooling Water) and the diesel generator buildings would remain operational in the case of a significant flooding event.

The event, organized by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department, also featured two parents of fatal car crash victims, who pushed students to always be safe motorists, including buckling their seat belts and not texting while driving.

In addition to the repairs made during the making of the movie and since its completion, new advertisements are being painted on the outfield walls as a way to raise money for the renovations.
