The allegations coming out of Cornell University are horrifying.
A former student has accused seven then-members of a fraternity of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2024. A criminal investigation that initially resulted in no charges has now been reopened, and New York’s attorney general has been appointed special prosecutor. The allegations remain under investigation.
But alongside the conversations about consent, accountability and campus culture, I’ve noticed another question emerging, particularly among parents:
How do I raise a child who would never do something like that?
Maybe your “never” isn’t something so horrific.
