After a 4-year-old boy spent about nine minutes underwater in a swimming pool and died five days later, Chattanooga police arrested the man responsible for the child’s care.
Deshundre Vinson, 22, was arrested Wednesday and faces one charge of first-degree murder and three charges of aggravated child abuse, according to online court records.
Vinson is listed as a member of CitiLimitz, a Chattanooga R&B trio that appeared on “America’s Got Talent” in 2025 after going viral on TikTok, on the group’s website.
The trio also landed on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2019. The Chattanooga Times Free Press has reached out to the group’s management with a request for information, and responses will be published online when received.
