Smoky Mountain Harmony in Spring City

The Smoky Mountain Harmony Show Chorus, an award-winning group of 30 women who specialize in barbershop harmony singing, will be in concert Saturday at Tennessee Valley Theatre, 184 W. Jackson Ave., in Spring City.

In its 11 years as a Sweet Adelines International chorus, Smoky Mountain Harmony has won its five-state regional contest three times and represented the region in international competitions in Portland, Ore., Phoenix and Detroit.

The a cappella group is represented by women from all over the Knoxville metropolitan area, as well as Oak Ridge, Crossville and Morristown.

Saturday's show will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. To reserve tickets, call 423-365-PLAY (7529).
