Bradley County Commissioner Howard Thompson turned himself in today at the Bradley County Jail after his indictment by the Bradley County Grand Jury on charges of filing a false report and attempted theft over $1,000.

Thompson's flea market business and home were searched in December 2010 by law enforcement agents.

He is one of two county commissioners who represent the Fourth District of Bradley County.
