A fire broke out in in a University of Tennessee at Chattanooga apartment building Friday night, a university spokesman says.
One apartment suffered fire damage and another had some smoke damage, university spokesman Chuck Cantrell said.
UTC police received a fire alarm call from Lockmiller II around 11:22 p.m., and the Chattanooga Fire Department had arrived and controlled the fire by 11:50 p.m., Cantrell said.
There were no known injuries and students were allowed to occupy the building once again this morning, university officials said.
Cantrell said housing officials are making accommodations for displaced students and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
