Cousin Jake festival Saturday

Five acts are in the lineup Saturday for the Cousin Jake Memorial Bluegrass Festival in Etowah, Tenn.

The Kenny and Amanda Smith Band, Lou Reid, Just Us, Valley Grass and Reliance will take the stage starting at noon in the Gem Theater, 700 Tennessee Ave.

Musicians are invited to bring their instruments for an all-day jam across the street at the L&N Depot Museum, 727 Tennessee Ave.

Boy Scout Troop 74 will sell barbecue during the dinner break, and nearby merchants will be open for business.

The festival is named for Jake Tullock, who toured for 20 years as a bass player and comic with Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs.

Tickets are $15.
