Tony Stone, 27, is charged with murder in the death of his father, Barry Stone.

A 48-year-old man’s body was found Tuesday night in the Shiloh community south of Fort Payne, Ala., with stab wounds in his chest.

The Fort Payne Police Department and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office believe that Barry Turner Stone, of Leesburg, Ala., was arguing with his son, 27-year-old Tony Stone, and the son stabbed his father multiple times, authorities said.

The son is being held without bond at the DeKalb County Detention Center on a charge of murder, said DeKalb sheriff spokeswoman Stanna Guice.

The body was found off County Road 51 by four young men who were walking near their residence, she said.
