The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team dropped two spots to No. 23 in this week’s The Sports Network Top 25, released today.
UTC fell after losing 40-7 at Nebraska, ranked No. 10 in the Associated Press’ bowl subdivision poll. The Football Championship Subdivision coaches’ poll, which had the Mocs at No. 23 last week, will be released Tuesday.
Defending national champion Eastern Washington remains atop the TSN poll, followed by Georgia Southern and Appalachian State. Georgia Southern moved up two spots to No. 2 after opening the season with a Southern Conference win at Samford.
Wofford moved up one spot to No. 8 and the Mocs’ opponent this Saturday, Jacksonville State, dropped a position to No. 10 after rallying in the fourth quarter to beat UT-Martin 24-23 last Thursday.
