A Hamilton County General Sessions Court judge sent an aggravated rape charge against an 18-year-old Chattanooga man to the grand jury after a preliminary hearing today.
Devontavious Bryant faces the charge in the Oct. 12 incident on Reggie White Boulevard near Finley Stadium.
The 30-year-old female victim told police she was jogging down the street when she saw a bicycle with no rider pass her then a black male grabbed her from behind.
The man demanded money, she said she didn't have any and gave him her MP3 player. She tried to run away and another black male in a yellow jacket, later identified as Bryant, grabbed her and said she could either perform oral sex on both of them or let them have intercourse with her.
The woman described details of being raped by Bryant and a 16-year-old. Bothwere later arrested and charged.
The juvenile is scheduled for a transfer hearing on Dec. 14 to determine if he will be tried as an adult.
