UTC Lady Mocs beat Georgia Southern

Taylor Hall scored a career-high 19 points and matched her career high 15 rebounds in the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team's 67-52 win over Georgia Southern tonight at McKenzie Arena.

The Lady Mocs led by as many as 24 points in the second half before the Eagles closed the gap to nine with 3:38 remaining. UTC then got several baskets from Whitney Hood, who finished with 17 points.

Kayla Christopher hit a pair of 3-pointers to move into a tie for fifth all-time at UTC with 161 in her career. UTC hit 8 of 17 3s two days after going 4 of 23 against the College of Charleston.
