‘The Ambassador’ visits

Chattanooga film club Mise En Scenesters has scheduled a screening of the new stunt documentary “The Ambassador.”

In the film, Danish journalist Mads Brügger goes undercover as a European ambassador to uncover the blood diamond trade in Africa.

The Los Angeles Times has described the filmmaker as “the heart of gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson beating within the body of comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.”

The resulting film shows his dangerous but hysterical journey.

Showtime is at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave. Admission is $7.
