Remembering World War II
Emily McCullough, 11, and her father Jason check out a mounted machine gun in the German fortifications after Saturday's first reenactment. Remembering Our Heroes, an event organized to honor veterans of World War II, was held at the Barnhardt Circle Polo Field in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., on Saturday. The event included all-day appearances from the historic actors of Patton and his Third Army Living Historians, a USO show with actors starring as Hollywood figures of the era, and two battle reenactments.
