Prep basketball standouts for Feb. 2

* Cole Birchfield, Dade County: He had four 3-pointers and 40 points as the Wolverines held off Coosa, 71-65.

* Alec Rattanaxay, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe: He scored 26 points and added seven assists in a 74-65 win over Ridgeland.

* Nick Moore, Arts & Sciences: He scored 20 points as the Patriots defeated Pickett County 73-56.

* Ansley Chilton, Dade County: She scored a game-high 19 points in leading the Lady Wolverines to a 59-35 win over Coosa.

* Aubrey Clemons, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe: She scored 18 points in the Lady Warriors' 57-50 win over Ridgeland.

* Destiny Irvin, Ridgeland: She finished with 16 points in defeat.

* Mariah Massengill, Silverdale Baptist: She had 24 points, six assists and five steals in the Lady Seahawks' 64-42 win over Boyd-Buchanan.

* Maddie Wright, Marissa McAllen, Boyd-Buchanan: They each scored 16 in the loss to Silverdale.

* Anisha Douglas, Brainerd: Her 18 points keyed the Lady Panthers' 51-30 win over Cedar Grove.
