CULLOWHEE, N.C. — The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team cruised to a 70-43 victory today at Western Carolina.
Center Ashlen Dewart led UTC (14-3, 7-1 SoCon) with 13 points, Kayla Christopher scored 12 and all 12 Lady Mocs had at least 2 points. UTC shot 49.1 percent from the field and was never threatened during the final 25 minutes of action.
UTC led 30-16 at the half and then went on an 18-4 run to start the second. The Lady Mocs visit Samford on Wednesday.
