RINGGOLD, Ga. — Ringgold two-sport star Slade Dale has committed to the University of Georgia to play baseball for new head coach Scott Stricklin.
The senior shortstop visited the Athens, Ga., campus over the weekend and committed on the spot. He will be the first Ringgold player to sign with Georgia since Josh Gandy in the mid-1990s and will be the 17th Tiger to sign a baseball scholarship in the last six years.
